Goodbye, For Now is Soda Pop Comics most personal work. Carla Rodríguez (writer) and Rosa Colón (illustrator) have translated their frustration with Puerto Rico's financial crisis and the migration of their friends to the U.S. into a love letter to Puerto Rico, specifically the west side of the island.

​Sofia and Mari are best friends, but their relationship is tested when Sofia announces she's leaving Puerto Rico. In order to say goodbye, Mari plans a road trip to the west coast where the girl's opinions on their connection to Puerto Rico will come to a head.

​The comic showcases real locations in Aguadilla, Rincón and Guánica among others.
